MSNBC host hits herself in face over montage of Obama healthcare promises

Whether it was frustration or disappointment, a montage of President Barack Obama repeatedly saying that people who already have health insurance can keep their plan proved to be too much for MSNBC cohost Mika Brzezinski.

Her response was to smack herself in the face with papers she was holding in her hand. Twice.

On Monday’s broadcast of “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough set up the video clip that shows Obama saying again and again over a four year period that if you like your existing plan, you can keep it under Obamacare.

Brzezinski’s reaction was almost as if she is asking, “How are we supposed to defend this???”

But leave it to Cris Matthews to defend the indefensible.

Matthews was part of a guest panel and when Scarborough pointed out that a stage 4 cancer patient had her insurance canceled, his response was to say that a cancer victim should be rooting for “the guy trying to help.”

In effect, Matthews is saying Obama should get an “A” for effort, even though the results are nothing short of disastrous. A good indication the elite media have yet to experience these results in their personal lives.
