Sen. President: Scott should seek an ‘experienced’ Lieutenant Governor: Senate President Don Gaetz said Monday that Gov. Rick Scott must appoint a lieutenant governor with experience dealing with the Legislature and state government. “This governor, as somebody who’s come from the business community,” Gaetz said in response to a question. “I think could benefit from a lieutenant governor who understood the legislative process and the regulatory process very, very well.”…Read more.
