The honeymoon is over – President Obama is finally experiencing his first marital spat with the media, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee pointed out Sunday.
Late-night comics and the White House press corps have given up on the customary “good-night kiss” engaging in a real face-slap over the $634 billion blown by the president’s team on the Obamacare website, the host of Fox News’ “Huckabee” said.
Huckabee ran a montage featuring NBC’s Chuck Todd, TBS’ Conan O’Brien, ABC’s Jonathan Karl, Jimmy Kimmel, Jay Leno, and Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart – all hammering Obamacare’s failures.
Obama has become somewhat of a “pitch man,” selling insurance in the Rose Garden, Huckabee said.
“It was almost like he was saying, ‘But wait, there’s more,’” the former governor said. “It’s hard to ignore absolute collapse, not only of the website, but the fundamental promises he made about Obamacare.”
