Late night comedian Jay Leno, host of NBC’s “Tonight Show,” saw fertile ground when a MSNBC reporter tried to sign up for Obamacare live on air Tuesday, the first day health care exchanges were available to the public.
The web site designed to allow people to enroll online has been “bedeviled by technology glitches” in its first week and the MSNBC reporter’s efforts became an exercise in futility — she eventually gave up out of frustration.
Leno, one of the few willing to ridicule President Obama in the same vein as every other president, mocked the embarrassing result by adding a surprise ending where she destroys her computer.
This is funny stuff.
