As a government shutdown looms, at least until the inevitable capitulation from Republican Speaker John Boehner, a store in Washington is trying to capitalize on the potential calamity.
A photo of a sign placed outside the store was posted on Twitter early Monday, complete with the message: “Buy beer/wine. Drink. Repeat.” Now that’s good ol’ American ingenuity at it’s best.
And speaking of being clever and innovative, Twitchy.com posted a number of great responses to the photo, with a few examples added below.
