Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, upon being asked, declined to comment on Anthony Weiner‘s bid to become the next mayor of New York City.
In an appearance on CSPAN, Wasserman Schultz said the voters would be deciding the outcome of that race, and added, “We can’t be weighing in on every single race in the country,” according to the Weekly Standard.
Weiner, who was involved in a minor accident Saturday on a busy Manhattan highway, was once leading in the polls in the race but has seen his campaign collapse under a new wave of sexting revelations.
