Fox News host Bill O’Reilly took House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to task for “going to the aid of the grievance industry” by organizing hearings titled a “conversation on race and justice in America” with the conversation promoting a single viewpoint: “That America is essentially an unjust country.” The hearings do little other than “stick it to the U.S.A. again,” he said.
After playing brief clips of Touré, Al Sharpton and Jay-Z, O’Reilly remarked that “Talking Points is fed up with this kind of misleading rhetoric,” given that he maintains America to be a “noble nation” with “the most humane people on earth.”
As proof, he asked, “Otherwise, why would millions of folks try to sneak into here — most of them minorities?”
He then played a clip of “The View’s” Sherri Shepherd admonishing Don Lemon for agreeing with O’Reilly.
“I don’t want to give Bill O’Reilly a license to say anything,” she said. “Because he’s never been a young black man growing up in a situation that a lot of them grow up in.”
O’Reilly took exception.
If Miss Shepherd is honest — if she’s honest then she would have to keep quiet during 75 percent of the topics on The View, because she’s not a white woman and can’t possibly know that experience. How foolish is this?
