Malkin: ‘Selective enforcement is the hallmark of this administration’

Conservative columnist and pundit Michelle Malkin blasted Attorney General Eric Holder’s “pandering” public statement concerning the Zimmerman acquittal, and remarked that Holder’s “rhetoric” never seems to match “reality.”

Malkin was invited on Fox News Monday afternoon by host Martha MacCallum, and observed that Holder has consistently “warped the rule of law,” especially “when it comes to racial politics,” while simultaneously holding himself out “as a neutral arbiter of the law.” Holder’s Zimmerman comments, Malkin said, were no different.

As a result, the attorney general succeeded in adding “more fuel to the fire when it comes to racial division,” proving that the president’s comments that he would accept the Zimmerman verdict “was lip service and not reality.”

Malkin agreed with MacCallum’s observation that the Justice Department lacked “follow-through” on matters that could prove harmful to the White House, including Benghazi and Fast and Furious. She shot back, “Selective enforcement is the hallmark of this administration” and observed that Holder had turned the DOJ into the “department of selective and social justice.”

Noting events following the Zimmerman verdict, Malkin said, “look at the chaos that we’re seeing in places like Oakland and other urban areas. Where is the responsible voice to say calm down and let justice speak and serve?”
