The young Saudi student once named a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing, scheduled for deportation based on “security” concerns, and then supposedly visited in the hospital by Michelle Obama, allegedly spent July 4 at the White House celebrating with the Obamas, members of our military and their families.
A law enforcement source “with direct knowledge” of the Boston bombing investigation confirmed to The Blaze on Wednesday that Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi is one of the men seen in a photo allegedly taken somewhere outside the White House on the fourth of July.
That photo, and another close-up photo of the president and first lady, were posted on the Twitter account of a man who said he is Alharbi’s father.

Translation: “We attended the celebration with my son Abd Al-Rahman and my son Issa,” according to The Blaze.

Translation: “We greeted Obama and his wife…,” according to The Blaze.
Along with the Twitter photos, there was a link to a Saudi Arabian newspaper article that said Alharbi and his family “had been invited by the White House to participate in America’s Independence Day celebrations,” the article said.
The Blaze published additional photos from the White House celebration taken by both Reuters and Getty news services’ for comparison to the photos from the Twitter account.
According to the paper’s comparison, everything in all three sets of photos, from “their surroundings – down to the outfits of the individuals they’re standing next to – appear to align.”
One Reuters’ photo even showed “three men dressed in black suits,” which is what Alharbi and the men he is with are wearing in their alleged White House photo.
The Blaze reported it had not received any answers to its numerous questions from the White House as of press time. Questions like, why would Alharbi be invited to an event honoring military heroes and their families? At the White House? On the fourth of July, an American holiday? Were other Boston bombing survivors invited?
But the article did say that the White House pool report noted the event was “closed to the public:”
“The President and First Lady [celebrated] the 4th by hosting ‘military heroes and their families’ along with administration staff and families at a White House barbecue and concert on the South Lawn.”
