For days, I’ve been glued to my television watching coverage of the George Zimmerman trial. And for days, it’s been pure agony watching the most liberally biased, politically correct, one-sided coverage of a case I have ever seen.
That’s why the audio below of Rush Limbaugh’s commentary on the testimony of Trayvon Martin’s friend, Rachel Jeantel, is so refreshing to hear.
Rush, once again, is right on in his analysis of Jeantel’s testimony.
Jeantel is considered the prosecution’s star witness, as she was the last person to speak to Martin before he was shot and killed by Zimmerman, a self-described Hispanic.
When she testified Wednesday that Martin described Zimmerman as a “creepy ass cracker,” all hell broke loose in the media.
Not because “cracker” is a racial slur against white people. No, Jeantel testified that calling white people “crackers” is neither racial nor offensive, in her opinion.
The media fury was directed at defense attorney Don West for “attacking” Jeantel, for “bullying” her, for beating up this poor young woman whose problem with diction made much of her testimony unintelligible to the repeated chagrin of the court reporter, and even one juror who yelled out she couldn’t hear Jeantel.
And Rush was right. He predicted Thursday:
They’re going to call this guy a bully, before this is all–this lawyer, he’s desperately trying not to say anything, he desperately wants the witness’s testimony to speak for itself, but he’s making sure, he’s asking her to repeat it, and he’s gonna end up being the bully. You wait and see! Creepy-ass cracker bully! That’s what the lawyer’s going to end up being.
That is precisely what is happening.
