For more than two decades, Florida sugar farmers have collaborated with the state to preserve the Everglades ecosystem. In celebration of the landmark legislation recently passed, a new video has been released to showcase those efforts.
Florida Crystals, U.S. Sugar Corp. and Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida have joined together in an outreach program to educate viewers about their more than 20-year role in Everglades restoration. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been invested to implement advanced farming methods, using science, technology and innovative research to restore the Everglades.
