Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly took Lou Dobbs and Eric Erickson to the woodshed Friday in response to controversial comments the two made about women being the primary breadwinner.
The Fox News contributors found a Pew study that showed 40% of American households having a mother as breadwinner to be “troubling,” claiming it signaled a disintegration of the American family, as Mediaite reported.
Not sure I would want to stand toe-to-toe with Megyn Kelly and try to defend that argument!
Erickson went so far as to claim that it’s “anti-science” to not believe that men are supposed to play the dominant role in the household.
In response, Kelly asked: “What makes you dominant and me submissive and who died and made you scientist-in-chief?”
I give Dobbs and Erickson credit for having the courage to go on air with Kelly, but neither one was a match for this fired up working mom.
