RPOF launches ‘This Day in Crist-ory’ campaign against former governor

Former Gov. Charlie Crist hasn’t officially entered the race for governor yet, but the Republican Party of Florida is gearing up its attacks anew.

On Tuesday, the party launched “This Day in Crist-ory,” a campaign to highlights portions of the former governor’s record – when he was still a Republican.

To get an idea of how the latest front of the ongoing anti-Crist campaign will play out, via email, Twitter and Tumblr, check out the opening salvo here.

“‘This Day In CRIST-ory’ will take a hard look at all of Charlie Crist’s failures and flip flops,” RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry said in a release announcing the campaign.

Curry also took a jab at the “For the People” slogan of Morgan and Morgan, the law firm the currently employs Crist.

“Much of this new campaign takes very little effort because Crist gives us so much material from things that come out of his own mouth. Floridians will be exposed to the fact that, at the end of the day, Charlie Crist is for himself, and not at all ‘for the people.’”
