Heartland employers keep hope alive to kill Obamacare in court

Democrats and their fellow travelers in the Fourth Estate keep mocking House Republicans for repeatedly voting to appeal Obamacare, but the votes keep opposition to the act alive and in the news.

Three cases were argued last week in two federal appeals circuits — keeping that opposition and alive and in the courts, the Heritage Foundation reports.

Oklahoma City-based Hobby Lobby, represented by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty has gotten the most publicity with its challenge to the act’s mandate that it pay for abortion-inducing drugs in the 10th Circuit.

“The conflict for me,” David Green, founder and CEO of Hobby Lobby, says in The Foundry report, “is that our family is being forced to choose between following the laws of the country that we love or maintaining the religious beliefs that have made our business successful and have supported our family and thousands of our employees and their families.”

In the Seventh Circuit, Korte and Luitjohan Contractors based in Illinois and Grote Industries of Indiana are also challenging the act on freedom-of-religion grounds.

Those two companies are represented by the American Center for Law and Justice.

How did those two ever make it through the IRS?

The names alone should have been a tipoff that they don’t belong in Obama’s America.
