In an interview today on “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer a question few in the media seem to have much curiosity about — what was President Obama doing during the attack in Benghazi?
Pfeiffer responded that Obama’s actions are an “irrelevant fact.”
As Wallace points out that Obama didn’t really talk with Secretary Clinton, Secretary Panetta, or Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, that night, Pfeiffer said, “He was talking to his national security staff.”
When asked if the president was in the Situation Room, Pfeiffer, who was by now in full spin mode, says, “I don’t remember what room the president was in on that night, and that’s a largely irrelevant fact.”
He then implies that any questions about Obama’s handling of the Benghazi terror attack are “offensive.”
It was very clear that Pfeiffer had no intentions of answering the question of where Obama was that night and what he was doing, doing his best to divert away from the question.
And while it’s purely speculative, this may explain why the IRS scandal was unleashed on the American public just days after the whistle-blowers began testifying before Congress on Benghazi, considering the administration had been aware of the actions of the IRS for almost a year.
Exactly what was Obama doing as four Americans advancing his foreign policy agenda were dying?
