Oh, Lord. Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said she is “praying” that Hillary Clinton runs for President in 2016.
Pelosi told of her prayers to a crowd in Little Rock Thursday, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Pelosi thinks a President Hillary Clinton would be “such a lift for our country,” and she babbled on about how it would send such a wonderful message to the women of the world.
According to the Gazette, Pelosi has no insider information that Clinton will run, but she’s praying it happens.
Pelosi said the following:
I pray that Hillary Clinton decides to run for president of the United States,” Pelosi said, drawing loud applause from the crowd of several hundred at the Robinson Center. “… Nobody has been first lady and senator and now secretary of state. Putting everything aside that she is a woman, she’d be the best qualified person that we’ve seen [in recent years].
