Who says Sen. Mitch McConnell doesn’t have a sense of humor? After taking a jab from President Obama over the weekend, McConnell hit back on Monday.
“Some folks still don’t think I spend enough time with Congress. ‘Why don’t you get a drink with Mitch McConnell?’ they ask,” Obama joked at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday. “Really? Why don’t you get a drink with Mitch McConnell?”
Not to be outdone, McConnell fired back this response with a nod to Clint Eastwood via Twitter:
