Virginia’s Liberty University is living up to its name — by expanding its concealed weapons policy. Now more people than ever are allowed to carry guns on campus, and in more places.

Faculty and staff were already carrying concealed weapons in school buildings with the university’s blessing. Now, under an amended policy, students and visitors can, too, as long as they have a valid concealed carry permit.
In the past, students and visitors could carry weapons on campus but not in buildings. They would have to either lock up their guns in their cars or check them in at the university police department.
