At a news conference this morning, President Obama
“We can’t afford to have our kids in bed sleeping and suddenly a rocket comes through the roof,” the president said. “But my argument is even though both sides may have — uh — areas of strong disagreement, may be engaging in activities the other side considers to be a breach of tru — uh — good faith, we have to push through those things to try to — uh — get to an agreement.”
When describing the disagreements between Israel and Palestine, the president said, “The United States and Canada has arguments once in a while.”
Last I heard, Canada wasn’t lobbing rockets into children’s bedrooms in the middle of the night.
