Attorney General Pam Bondi’s effort to provide relief for homeowners through legislation is being applauded by the Republican Party of Florida.
In a new video, Bondi outlines a $25 billion settlement with the nation’s five largest mortgage servicers and how she fought to use Florida’s share to benefit homeowners statewide, according to a release by the RPOF.
“I have been committed to ensuring that Florida’s mortgage settlement funds are used for housing-related purposes,” Bondi says in the video. “Including downpayment assistance especially for first-time home-buyers, housing counseling, legal counseling, and stronger enforcement.”
