Crazy actor Alec Baldwin may have officially gone off the deep end Sunday.

The New York Post reported on an incident involving the big-mouthed, antagonistic Baldwin, saying he flipped out in such a racist, verbal tirade against one of the Post’s photographers that police had to be called.

According to the Post, Baldwin was out walking his dogs and a Post reporter asked him about a lawsuit involving his wife. Baldwin allegedly grabbed reporter Tara Palmeri and told her, “I want you to choke to death.” Ever the good reporter, Palmeri captured those words on audiotape and later played it for the police.

Baldwin then turned his angry wrath onto Post photographer and retired New York City police detective G.N. Miller, who said Baldwin called him, “a coon,” “a crackhead” and a “drug-dealer,” then made “disparaging remarks” about Miller’s mother.

Police were called, and both men filed harassment charges against each other, the article said.

Miller told police he eventually pulled out his retired police credentials to show Baldwin, but Baldwin called the ID a fake.

Baldwin posted comments on Twitter over the incident, but later removed them, the article noted:

“Thank u 2 NYPD officers who came to my home 2day so that I could file a formal complaint against NY Post “photographer’’ who assaulted me,’’ he tweeted.

In another post, Baldwin referred to Miller, for unknown reasons, as “Ralston,” writing, “Moments after I tweet about the Post, Ralston, the ex-crackhead ‘photographer’ shows up at my door w 1 of Murdoch’s nieces in tow.”

He added, “Ralston claims he’s ex NYPD!! That can’t be!!! Ex NYPD don’t become crackhead, ex jailhouse paparazzi!”

Not surprisingly, Baldwin, through spokesman Matthew Hitzik, denied making any racial slurs.

But, as the article pointed out, Baldwin has a history of rants against photographers:

Last June, the day before his wedding, Baldwin shouted to a black photographer on the street, “You gotta back up there Rodney.”

The photographer’s name wasn’t Rodney.

Twitter comments on the story Monday were directed at asking Capital One if it supports its spokesman.
