Congressman Allen West gave a speech honoring Veterans and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the U.S. Navy SEALs on Saturday.
The public got to hear West and glimpse into the world of special ops at the 28th annual Muster held at the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce. Current and former Navy SEALs from all over the country provided guests with a live demonstrations of a helicopter assault, hostage rescue and simulated sniper attack. The U.S. Navy Parachute Team, the “Leap Frogs,” fell in and an F-15 will flew over head.
William H. McRaven, the commander given the order by CIA Director Leon Panetta to lead the Navy SEAL team raid that killed Osama bin Laden last year was also a featured speaker.
