In a recent media release, West for Congress confirmed that due to Congressional schedule changes, Allen West will participate in a candidate forum with Democrat nominee Patrick Murphy hosted by The League of Women Voters of St. Lucie County. The forum will be held at the St. Lucie County Commissioners Chamber at 2300 Virginia Avenue in Ft. Pierce on Thursday, October 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It is open to the public.
“Though Patrick Murphy continues to duck real debates, I am pleased voters will have the opportunity to finally compare the candidates on substance. I have been calling for multiple debates since August and while this isn’t a debate, at least it is an opportunity for voters to hear from both candidates. I hope Patrick Murphy still decides to attend,” said Allen West.
