Today Allen West for Congress released poll numbers showing Allen West is in a strong position to win reelection despite Patrick Murphy’s desperate campaign of false, dishonest and even racist attack ads. West for Congress Campaign Manager Tim Edson released the following statement:

“Patrick Murphy is seeing the same numbers in his own polling, and so are Washington liberals. That is why the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee recently canceled its ads on Patrick Murphy’s behalf. Running low on money and being written off by Washington liberals, Patrick Murphy grows increasingly desperate everyday.

Patrick Murphy’s relentlessly negative campaign is backfiring as his one-to-one favorable to unfavorable image shows, Despite the lies and false attacks, Allen West remains in a strong position with 18th District voters.”

This survey echoes numbers showing Allen West leading Patrick Murphy by double digits. That survey was conducted by Public Opinion Strategies 9/9-9/10.
