In an exclusive interview with BizPac Review, U.S. Congressman Allen West said Democrats’ unprecedented three-time vote to insert the words “God” and “Jerusalem” back into the Democratic platform, after a move to take them out, may not be enough to contain the damage. In fact, he said, the dramatic back and forth should cost the Democrats votes, though he predicted many people will continue to “drink the Kool-Aid.”
West has been vocal and consistent in his criticism of the Obama administration’s policies and proclamations about Israel. West’s campaign was quick to use footage from the Democratic National Convention’s Sept. 5 vote to create an ad linking his opponent, Patrick Murphy, to the Democrats’ “godless” message.
