There is a lot of misinformation floating around.
Yes, we as the grassroots must be ever vigilant.
The chance to amend the Rules (one of the new changes), represents an opportunity not a problem. Never before has there been an opportunity to amend the RNC Rules between conventions.
The new Rule allows amendments between now and September 2014.
This can only be done by a 75% vote of the RNC which is made up of 3 elected representatives from each state, who are accountable to the grassroots, NOT Washington insiders.
So that fact that we on the RNC can go back and amend things is a good thing, NOT an opportunity for more mischief by consultants.
