Obama’s inexperience devastating for U.S.

Let’s play a little game of make believe. You are planning to open a high-faluting, expensive restaurant in the heart of Manhattan and are searching for a great head chef. In walks a guy with no experience, he doesn’t know a skillet from a strainer, but he has one hell of a lot of confidence and charisma. And you hire him.

Now let’s talk about President Obama and his three years as head chef in the kitchen of America.

It has been a dismal failure. And I’m speaking as an American, not from the basis of any political motive. The Middle East, which was in a sort of status quo when he took office, is now in turmoil. Tunisia’s recent election has the Islamist party, Ennadhda, claiming victory. What is really scary is that the media has labeled this group “moderate Islamist.”

Egypt is now controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood, with the new government breaking the 30-year-old “peace” agreement with Israel. Iran has sailed two warships through the Suez Canal after being banned for over 30 years. And the new strongman in Libya, Mustafa Jalil, just declared that Shariah law will be the basis of legislation in that newly freed nation. Nothing to worry about, according to our own director of national intelligence, James Clapper. Handpicked by Obama, Clapper has stated that the Muslim Brotherhood, which is the supreme Islamist group in North Africa, is “largely secular.”

We are going to pull out of Iraq by year’s end. The evacuation, therefore, must start within a few days to accomplish the goal of complete withdrawal by New Year’s Day. Obama would not maintain the presence of even a few thousand troops in that country for continued training purposes. Of course, that leaves the Iraqis at the mercy of the Iranians, who are licking their chops at the prospect of mass extermination of their avowed enemies. What will happen to those Iraqis who sided with the United States? Take a guess. Look no further than the results of our leaving Vietnam: Bloodshed to those who stuck their necks out for freedom at our behest, a message to future allies.

Obama’s treatment of Israel is one for the books. The only democratic country in the Middle East and our only friend in that area has been treated as an enemy more so than Iran. Obama condemns Israel’s building of homes for its citizens but remains silent about Iran’s building of deadly atomic bombs. Obama has the audacity to try to set the ground rules for Israel’s internal policies, not taking into consideration that Israel is a democracy with its own elected leaders. No such treatment of Cuba or Venezuela. One must ask, “What are his motives?”

Obama’s first stimulus program, costing nearly $800 billion, has seen those dollars flow down the drain. Unemployment remains steady at 9.1 percent. His “jobs bill” couldn’t get through the Democratic- controlled Senate. Over 46 million people are on food stamps. That’s an increase of 34 percent in less than two years. The housing market is already under water because of federal over-regulation of the lending industry, but Obama has just renewed that same program with further “housing assistance” for those already in foreclosure. He is to come out shortly, it is rumored, to forgive student loans. Another trillion bucks paid for by “millionaires and billionaires.”

Obama’s pandering to and support of the Occupy Wall Street crowd is madness. The same people who funded his campaign are now the evil, corrupt “one percenters” who have to be squished and destroyed. Will these elite, wealthy liberals support his presidential campaign as they did three years ago?

Rather than remain in Washington, thinking and planning of ways to save our country from disintegrating from within, our president will spend the next 12 months on the campaign trail making promises to one and all that what is needed for recovery is just another four years in the White House. His decisions have been monumental failures. His actions and behavior have been analyzed and found to be bizarre. His consultations and meetings with his Cabinet are now nearly nil. In general, we must be very wary of and interpret each and every word that comes out of his mouth. Better yet, let’s work to kick him out of the kitchen on Nov. 6, 2012.
