The Republican field for Broward County’s congressional District 20 seat grew Thursday with the announcement of Ozzie DeFaria’s bid to unseat U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. DeFaria, a management consultant from Weston, announced the launch of his political campaign exclusively to BizPac Review in a video interview. The pro-business candidate plans to go public on Tuesday with his intention to run in the Republican primary for the opportunity to defeat Wasserman Schultz, the Democrat who has held the seat since 2005. DeFaria talks about his qualifications for the job, and how he plans to beat his Republican opponents as well as Wasserman Schultz .
