SMALL BUSINESS GROUP ENDORSES DANIEL WEBSTER IN FLORIDA’S 8TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

Alexandria, Va. — Trust in Small Business PAC (TISB), a national political action committee supporting pro-small business candidates, today announces its endorsement of Daniel Webster in Florida’s 8th Congressional District.

“Webster will stand up for small business,” says Chairman and CEO Ed Pinto

To receive TISB’s endorsement, the candidate must have demonstrated both their support for the interests of the tens of millions of small business owners across the country and their belief that the free enterprise system is the best way to grow the American economy. Daniel Webster has received the endorsement and an “A” rating from TISB.

“Jobs and the economy are unquestionably the two most important issues in the elections this November,” stated Ed Pinto, Chairman and CEO of Trust in Small Business PAC. “Small business is the key to jump starting the economy and creating new jobs America so desperately needs thus electing pro-business candidates to Congress has never been more important,” continued Pinto. “As a small business owner, Daniel Webster understands this. Webster will stand up for small business.”

Webster has made a commitment to lowering taxes, extending the Bush era tax cuts, eliminating burdensome regulations, repealing or revising “Obamacare,” opposing onerous card check legislation and decreasing wasteful government spending.

“Small business represents half of our national economy and generates two thirds of all new jobs but until now has been sorely underrepresented in Congress. This year, for the first time, there are many highly qualified candidates who are also experienced small business owners.” stated Barry Campbell, TISB Board Member and Chairman of the Candidate Selection Committee. Campbell added, “Voters trust small business more than any other group. Small business owners and their employees need to know which candidates to support.”

Trust in Small Business was created in 2006 to pursue majorities in both Houses of Congress that are friendly toward small business. TISB is a non-partisan, transparent, member-driven organization.
