Craig Miller Raises $272,000 In Q2

Seminole County Republican businessman Craig Miller, candidate for District 24’s U.S. Congressional Seat, today announced that he rose over $272,000 for the Q2 reporting cycle. Additionally, he reported over $325,000 cash on hand. This good news comes just days after a poll showing Miller as having a commanding lead for the Republican nomination.

“I believe that we are building a lot of momentum heading into the final stretch,” stated Craig Miller. “We have an aggressive get-out-the-vote strategy and our resources will allow us to continue to communicate our positive message based on sound conservative principles of fiscal restraint, growing our economy, and creating jobs. The voters understand that I am the best person to do that because I am a businessman and it is what I have been doing all of my life. Congress has let us down and it’s time to give the power back to the voters to elect someone who shares their values. We intend to reach them through TV, radio, Internet, and in their mailbox.”

Campaign spokesman Jon Miller commented, “Craig’s message of being a political outsider, a Vietnam Veteran, and a businessman is really resonating throughout the district. Voters are saying they are tired of career politicians. It’s time for a businessman from the restaurant industry to write a new menu for Washington.”

When Craig was just 13 he went to work washing dishes at the Neptune Restaurant in Rockledge, Florida. He graduated from Cocoa High and served in Vietnam. He was stationed at McCoy and Patrick Air Force Bases. He met his wife Susan while working at the Colony Theater in Winter Park and then graduated from UCF. Craig led Pizzeria Uno and Ruth’s Chris Steak House – creating thousands of jobs and building hundreds of restaurants across America. Craig lives in Seminole County with his wife Susan and is the father of three grown children and one grandchild. His mother and sister still live in Brevard County.
